any one else had a moto metal wheel crack?

My buddy has a set of 951 moto metal wheels. Has had them for lil over a yr on his f250. The truck never gets off road at all he babies the truck big time. He had a wheel crack about 3 months ago .We all thought just a bad mold . He had it welded and ran it till his new wheel came in . Now its just a spare. Well today another wheel cracked in the exact same place. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem . If noone has just beware of moto metal wheels!!

I would be making a call and getting a new set on them. If he's had two...... bad day if one goes completely

Damn, those are the wheels I have. Where did they crack at? I want to keep an eye on mine.

ya my buddy has the skull set and they cracked also on 2 of the 4,,they sent him a whole new set figuring it was the stock ..but these ones cracked on him also ,,so when he asked for a refund they said beat it ...eitherway he's running greg weld fugitive's now ..they wont break on him,,,good luck to yur bro man

it cracked in the center of the wheel. you will know cause your tire will go flat. his first one happend 12 hours from home pulling his 5th wheel

dave could you ask your buddy if he still has the number or how he went about getting his wheels replaced thanks man

im going to bring some die penetrant test home from work and spray it so i can take pics of the crack for those who dont know what it is it a die that will make any crack or anything wrong with the metal show up
