Looking good! That's what I'm planning on doing with my 85 Suburban. I'm not gonna make the motor that powerful though, I'm planning on giving the truck to my son when he's old enough to drive. He's almost 4 now so I've got 12 years to get it done!

You can make over 600 horse with the 62. Scott is one of our Cummins techs here at the shop and we installed the Silver 62, 220 horse injectors from industrial injections, HO VP44 from Industrial, ARP head studs, S&B Cold Air, Edge Juice With Attitude (Hot Unlock) stacked with a Smarty, BD Exhaust manifold, Valair Dual Disk, Air Dog II 165 with an Alligator Fuel Sump and his truck puts down 630+ on every dyno we have ever had it on. It pulls the sled pretty damned good too!

The 220 horse injectors are a little over kill but a customer sent them back used and we couldn't sell them so we replaced Scott's old Edge Jammer 75's with these and he picked up a boat load of power, and they actually smoke less then the old jammers.

We just swapped the 62 for a Silver 64 but haven't seen a huge jump in power really.

Nice. Better than what I got...... A ride to a car that was for sale for $500, needing "TLC" (Ah my first car, an 87 Chevy Spectrum 5-speed hatchback. That was fun as hell on the dirt roads.

The best I could get was 463 with my EGT's over 1600. I had II's 120 sticks at the time. Even on the street I couldn't keep it cool. When I popped the HG I found 2 cracked pistons so I pulled the 120's and went back to the 40's for now.

Add some vids when you get her all buttoned up.

I love seeing different engine swaps. It is amazing how many vehicles the inline Cummins will fit into with a bit of fabricating.
What do you plan on using the truck for?
Looking forward to seeing more pics of your project!

rpm gauge is hook up in the dash.. Just have a lil AC work to do...Most people dont go as far has i did on this one.. Modded P-pump, phat shaft turbo, bosch 370 injectors, incooler,ac and heat, gear vendor over drive,,, cant wait to dyno it.. should be between 400-500 hp..
