This is what happens when you drink and drive and pull out in front of my train....Luckily he was not in the truck when we hit him

he missed the crossing trying to go around the gates that were down and got stuck on the rail and he was sober enough to get out before we smashed him. I watched the cops give him a sobriety test.....it was entertaining to say the least. We had a fairly light train of 3k tons and saw him so we dumped all the air and went from 40mph to 20mph before we hit him

Makes sense now, your "Train" wasn't a truck + big trailer, it was a TRAIN. Who would have guessed....

Deer ran into my drivers door and rolled down the side two weeks after it got painted.

And people get pissed when I cook em. A deer hit the side of my mom's minivan many years ago. Another ran in front of me driving same van back from upstate a year? later. Hit one in my old Pontiac, punted it's ass right over a guardrail into a swamp. A month after I got my 06 D-max one jumped out so close it disappeared in front of me (below hood), but I didn't hit it. (Maybe touched it I was hard on brakes and didn't feel a strike, no marks/damage/etc... I make a killer stew with venison, I tell squeamish folks it's beef, and they love it! C'mere Bambi!

LOL.....I should have explained that better....my friends all get to run over cool stuff (Ferrari, small airplane, dump trucks, dozers, giant windmill parts, vodka trucks) and I just have hit this 1 truck in my career but had way to many close calls......got lots of small critters and a few cows though

For one thing, the older trucks had twice the thickness of body panels, fenders, bumpers, etc. Second, shinny new stuff seems to attract problems like a magnet.

running 65 up hill to find a parked car on the other side, on a very active road, got my pitman arm, pretty much everything in the steering, ripped the spindle off the ball joint, but the truck is driving today and the car was totalled...
