That isn't really true.... remand injectors have a shady track record. There are several companies in the states the build *remand* injectors.... this pretty much means they swap out the nozzles and clean up the bodies. They are not flow tested or calibrated and we used to sell them... we had an 80% failure rate which is fine because they are warrantied. But injector replacement on an LB7 is a 10 hour job according to GM's service manual which means the work is being done by a certified GM technician. Your average shade tree mechanic is not going to be even close to that time.

So imagine how happy customers were when they called us up letting us know that their 3 month old injectors were already shot... "okay send them back and we will get you new ones out under warranty" Customer: "Fine, but are you going to pay my $1,000 bill for my mechanic to pull them out and install the new ones?" Me: "Sir I can't do that, I informed you that reman injectors aren't reliable but you wanted to save $500 dollars"

Doesn't matter what you say to that customer, we are the a$$holes that offered them junk injectors. So we took them off our site... our LB7 injector sales fell through the floor but so did our pissed off customer ratio. Some things just aren't worth it.

These injectors we are offering in this package are certified Bosch remans, they take a while to get as Bosch has to rebuild them in Germany and we have to wait for shipments. But they last 10 times longer than remans from Pensacola Diesel or other un-reputable companies making junk remans

I don't think he is saying not to buy reman injectors, just to get genuine Bosch reman injectors. From the research I've done thats what I read everywhere also is to stay away from any injectors for an LB7 other than the Bosch ones.
